PristineTerms of Use
Pristine is distributed through the Mac App Store and is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add product-specific points; where they conflict, Apple's agreement prevails.

Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policy.
Free tier
Scanning, monitoring and a monthly cleaning allowance are provided free of charge. We may change the allowance or the set of free features in future versions; changes apply to new versions only.
Using the app responsibly
Pristine shows you what it found and acts only on items you confirm. You are responsible for reviewing the selection before cleaning. Although items are moved to the Trash by default and every operation is logged, the app is provided “as is” and we cannot guarantee that a confirmed removal will never affect something you wanted to keep. Keep a backup (Time Machine or equivalent) of anything important.
Security scanning
The Malware Scanner uses heuristics and a limited signature database. It is not a substitute for a full antivirus product and does not guarantee the detection or absence of malicious software.
